Andre and Rafa started Ferment as an experiment during the shutdowns from Covid-19. Naturally, they decided that they would not only try making sourdough, but start a cottage bakery in their house. And not only that, they would deliver all of their breads by bike. These two exude passion and energy and it shows in their bread. This film follows them through a standard bake day and explores ideas of partnership, failure and redefining our food systems.
